Fahy records 119/1 double
The concluding race of the Tramore Festival, the www.tramore-racecourse.com Mares Flat Race was won by the Pat Fahy trained Cailin Oran in the hands of his son Conor Fahy making it a double on the day for the trainer.
“I’m hoarse after roaring her home, that was sweet and Conor gave her a drive and a half. She had a good run at Gowran Park first time out and then it rained at Limerick and the ground went against her,“ said a thrilled Fahy.
Fahy’s earlier winner came with Backtothekingsnest after he landed the Graun Hill Mares Handicap Hurdle.
