Stack The Deck (11/10f) completed a notable across-the-card double at Limerick today for trainer Pat Fahy when running away with the concluding GGL Security 24/7 Alarm & CCTV Monitoring Bumper under Katie Walsh.
The son of Beneficial was produced wide with her challenge by Walsh and the pair scooted away for an impressive nine and a half lengths win over Dr Zoom
Afterwards Fahy stated “we knew he was very good but his first run was on yielding, goodish ground and he had to go and prove himself on that ground. That didn't surprise me though as he has shown us so much at home since we left him off last season.
“He'll probably go for a winners' bumper next and I'd like to take him to a good track next as we'd like to find out more about him.”
Fahy's presence at Limerick was almost a tip in itself, having chosen the 'lesser' meeting ahead of Leopardstown where his Western Boy landed an earlier maiden hurdle.
