Fada bounces back
Ard Agus Fada a faller at Punchestown yesterday, bounced back to score in the handicap chase at Gowran today.
He was produced with a well-timed charge by Declan Bates to get the better of Borolee on the run-in by a neck.
The Philip Rothwell-trained gelding had been moving into contention when crashing out five from home yesterday but was obviously none-the-worse for the spill.
"We thought he would have gone close at Punchestown yesterday," said Rothwell.
"He came out of that well so we decided to take our chance today."
