Free Expression looked an exciting prospect when powering to success in the Racing Post Point-To-Point bumper at Fairyhouse.
Nina Carberry got a good tune from the 2/1 favourite inside the final furlong to land the spoils in the €50,000 contest.
The Germany gelding got on top in the closing stages to record a length-and-a-half victory over Clondaw Farmer
The JP McManus-owned winner was maintaining a 100 per cent record having taken his sole start 'between the flags' at Dromahane back in December.
“He's a nice horse. He's a big galloper and looks a three-mile chaser. He would want a bit softer ground and will be a nice horse with a summer's grass,” said Elliott.
