Exit To The West justified evens favouritism with the minimum of fuss in the Thanks To All The Frontline Worker Beginners Chase at Cork.
The Westerner mare won a point-to-point and a handicap hurdle last year and this looked a good opportunity after filling the runner-up spot on her previous two outings over fences.
Robert Tyner ’s charge travelled well to lead on the inner early in the straight and asserted after two out.
Phillip Enright still had a tight hold of the seven-year-old as she cruised further clear on the run-in to beat Mister Butler by five and a half lengths. Stansfield could find no extra a further two lengths away in third.
Enright said, "She was entitled to do that on her form - she jumps and she stays and is proven on her two chase runs.
"She made a few mistakes at Tramore the last day but got into a good rhythm today and jumped well all the way.
"She didn't really do any more than you'd expect with the type of race it was."
