Espresso scoots home in bumper
Espresso Lady stamped her authority on the concluding bumper at Navan when storming home under Kate Harrington.
The Shantou mare was always to the fore and hit the front around halfway. She stormed clear before the turn and had her rivals struggling.
Harrington kept her mother Jessica's charge up to her work inside the final furlong to record a nine-length victory over Shadow Eile
"She's shown a bit of promise at home. They went a bit quick for her at Punchestown last time," said travelling head lad Eamon Leigh.
"We were worried about somebody taking her on again today but the race worked out ok."
