Cash Or Casualty bounced back to winning ways when landing the second divison of the ten furlong handicap at Dundalk.
Shane Gray gave the four-year-old a strong ride, driving him into the lead over a furlong out and keeping him going in the closing stages.
The 16/1 shot held the late run of Opening Nite by half-a-length with Gort Na Mona also closing another half-length back in third.
The Footstepsinthesand gelding had given trainer Damian English his first success at the Galway festival last year and this ended his wait for number two.
"He had a wind op before Christmas and in his homework since that he's been more settled and relaxed," revealed English, who has six in training for the Flat.
"I thought this trip would be ideal if he settled. We might be able to pick up another one with him.
"Shane gave him a good ride - we thought we'd take the 7lb off his back."
