Elliott sticks to Plan A
The Gordon Elliott trained Plan A read the script when landing a gamble (11/4 – 2/1f) to win the Fairyhouse Welcomes The Solheim Cup To Meath Hurdle at Fairyhouse today.
Ably ridden by Davy Condon, the four year old moved to the front after two out, and while he edged towards runner-up Shabra Chraity from the last, ran out the neck winner.
Winning trainer Elliott was at Perth, having earlier seen his Manger Hanagment complete a four-timer, but Condon did say “Plan A idled in front and lugged in on top of other horse but he did it well in the end.”
