Gordon Elliott recorded an across the card double when his charge Nino Cochise came home in front of the Nifor 6th and 7th November Hurdle at Down Royal in the hands of Shane McCann.

McCann made the running on the High Chaparral gelding, but having been headed after the second last a good jump at the last and a strong drive by McCann soon saw the pair in front again and they kept on well to win by 3 lengths.

Elliott’s other winner came across the water when he landed the feature at Ffos Las, the Freebets.co.uk Handicap Chase with Backstage under Tom Scudamore.
