Elliott enjoys a day to remember
It was an evening to remember for trainer Gordan Elliott who recorded a treble after his charge Dr Kildare landed a gamble (4/1 - 7/4) to win Duke Of York Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Conor Maxwell.
Maxwell raced his mount in behind the leaders, took closer order travelling well 3 out, pushed along to lead after 2 out and he kept on well to win by a cosy 7 lengths.
Elliott’s other winner’s came with Nico Cochise taking the previous race on today’s card at Down Royal and Backstage which landed the feature race across the water in Ffos Las.
