Arctic Ambition sealed a Kilbeggan double for Gordon Elliott and Danny Gilligan in the extended 2m3f handicap chase.
The 7/1 shot jumped three out in fourth place and closed in third at the next fence.
Gilligan produced him between Huntingtown and Gali Flight on the downhill run towards the last.
He sneaked through on the inner to go on from Gali Flight before the last and was going much the better than that rival who crumpled on landing leaving Arctic Ambition clear.
The eight-year-old gelding swept in by five and a-half lengths from 11/4 favourite Huntingtown. The Connector 15/2, was another four and a-quarter lengths back in third.
“I'd say he runs well fresh and, in fairness to Danny, he gave him a good ride - it's great for him,” said Elliott.
The duo earlier took the opening maiden hurdle with Stuzzikini
