Gordon Elliott and Keith Donoghue bagged a double in Cork through Moonlight Escape who was a fortuitous winner of the mares' maiden hurdle.
The well-backed Tell Me Annie made all over this two mile three trip and was clear at the last, however, she fell there leaving Moonlight Escape to fend off Bang Bang Rosie
Moonlight Escape won at 5/1 by three parts of a length from the 10/11 favourite. Miz Dilleen completed the placings at 25/1 some 19 lengths adrift.
Tell Me Annie was backed this morning from 11/4 to 5/4 before going off at 2/1.
Assistant trainer Davy Condon said: "She got lucky although they are there to be jumped. She deserved it because she had been knocking on the door and is honest and stays all day.
"She is on the go a long time and Gordon might give her a little break now before getting going again for the summer."
