The Michael Halford trained Ebadani was the second consecutive top weight to win at Galway today, landing the Ladbrokes 'The Believer' Handicap under capable five pounds claimer Sean Corby.
Following the win, Halford stated "it was a good weight carrying performance and a lovely ride by Sean - the 5lb probably made the difference in the end.
"He's a fierce genuine horse. It was only his second run of the year so he was good and fresh coming here.
"The lads have been very patient. It's been the plan to come here as he likes an ease in the ground.
"We might mix it with him."
