Cuban Hope completed a double on the card for Jim Bolger, as he ran out an easy winner of the concluding Follow Us On Twitter Handicap.
Successful on his most recent start at Dundalk, the son of Teofilo was expected to follow-up this afternoon, and went off the 3/1 favourite.
Settled behind the leaders, the bay victor made steady progress in the straight, and got to the front with over a furlong left to race, powering clear from there to score by four lengths. The Names Jock (16s in early shows and from 8s to 5s on-course) ran well to finish second on his debut for John Kiely, while Dreamboat Dave (7/1) and Royal Canford (18/1) were third and fourth respectively.
Bolger, who completed a treble at Naas on the opening day of the season last Sunday, said afterwards: "He's a big horse and I would have expected him to improve.
"He's appreciated going up in trip and can go further. He could even go up the hill in Cheltenham!" Madam Seamstress provided Bolger with his first success this afternoon, and both winners are owned by his wife Jackie.
