Amateur jockey Andy Duff completed a bumper double at Roscommon this evening when landing the concluding Knockcroghery Bumper on the Richard Brabazon trained Red Star Boy
Duff, successful half an hour earlier on A Hit Is A Hit was recording his second racecourse double on the son of Pairumani Star, eventually recording a six length win over Chinook Run
Afterwards Curragh based Brabazon, a son of former jumping legend Aubrey Brabazon, reported “Red Star Boy was having his fifth run in bumpers but has done almost everything at home! My business is pre-training and breaking racehorses and Red Star Boy has led two year old, schooled over point to point fences and come out of starting stalls at home! He will either go hurdling or now be sold.”
