Martin Kelly recorded his first winner this afternoon aboard the Jim Dreaper trained Carlos when winning The Bobbyjo Bistro Handicap Hurdle in the colours of Ray Tiernan.

Nineteen year old Kelly originally from Kilmore Quay Co Wexford came through Race and has been working for Jim Dreaper for over a year.

Kelly raced his mount in mid-division, took closer order approaching straight, ridden to lead at last, kept on well under pressure to hold off Gerry Keane's Saipan by 1 length.
