Donal MacAuley who turned professional today got a dream start when winning The Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle aboard the Philip Rothwell trained Fairwood Bob

MacAuley a native of Cork was a successful Amateur riding 17 winners on the track and was also champion rider of The Fegentri Series. The 29 year old is based with Philip Rothwell and claims 5 pounds.
