In-form trainer Tim Doyle struck again with Wrist Art in the Moyne Handicap at Thurles.
The Sir Prancealot gelding had won at Punchestown last month before bumping into Drop The Dip in Listowel last time.
He went to post a 13/8 favourite in today's mile contest and was produced on the outer to lead two furlongs from home by Wayne Hassett.
Hassett, who is also enjoying a purple patch, asked his mount for an effort over a furlong from home and he galloped on strongly to post a comprehensive four-and-a-half length win.
Local handler Doyle actually hails from Moyne, the parish which the race was named after, and he said afterwards:-
"He ran a cracker in Listowel but from the outside stall it is very hard to do it around there. The winner of that race won since and ran well again yesterday so the form is holding up.
"Like the rest of our horses, he has just come to himself in the last month. He always showed ability but used to worry a bit and get tense. He has relaxed better now and it has made all the difference.
"He loves the soft ground and we'll hope to find another race before the end of the season."
