Downey and Angel score again
Rose Angel (Robbie Downey) gets up to beat Have A Nice Day (Leigh Roche) in the 5th at Dundalk

Leigh Roche gave Have A Nice Day a nice ride in front in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Handicap, but a mare in form is often a difficult rival to deal with and so it proved as Rose Angel followed up last Friday night's win, again with young Robbie Downey in the plate.
Seven pound claimer Downey had a double here five days ago and he was seen to good effect again on 5/2 favourite Rose Angel, getting the sweet-traveller up inside the last to defeat Have A Nice Day by a neck.
Francis Casey represented his father Peter, successful breeder/trainer and part-owner and he commented: "She might run again on Friday as she's in. We'll see what way she is in the morning.
"I think she won a bit cheeky there.
"She idled a bit in front the last day. I think she wants further and if she does stay a bit more she might be able to go up in grade a bit." (GC & EM)
