Doubles for Halford & Aga Khan

"A good day at the office" was how Michael Halford summed things up after Zariyna followed up the earlier success of juvenile Dibayani also in the colours of the Aga Khan, in the O'Briens Wines Handicap.
Halford just brought the two horses to his local track and left with a 100% record as the pair completed an 11/2 double.
Shane Foley timed his challenge well in the mile and a quarter event, hitting the front just inside the final furlong on the 3/1 favourite.
The daughter of Marju kept on well to hold the late challenge of The Fox Tully (11/2) by half a length, while Silver Shuffle (7/2) was a further length and a quarter back in third.
Halford said, "She's a bit keen and she didn't get much cover on her last two runs. Shane did a good job today.
"She's very genuine and straight forward, and we'll keep going handicapping for the time being. It would help if she settled a bit better."
