Don Cossack gained further admirers in landing his third bumper on the trot by scoring stylishly under Nina Carberry in the concluding William & Gladys Bourke INH Flat Race at Fairyhouse.
The German-bred son of Sholokhov was a second winner on the day for Gigginstown House Stud following on from Dedigout earlier and of course their Rogue Angel lost the Racing Post Champion Point-to-Point INH Flat Race in the steward's room.
Don Cossack led from two furlongs out and he was ridden clear from over a furlong out, going on to easily beat Elsie by seventeen lengths.
Winning trainer Gordon Elliott said: "If I was a horse I'd sleep with him, he's that good. That's him definitely finished for the season and we'll look forward to next season with him now (Paddy Power go 8/1 Don Cossack for the Neptune & the Supreme)." (MG & EM)
