Dingle proves too strong for Glor
Dingle View produced a gutsy front-running performance to deny hotpot Glor Na Mara in the Group 3 Go And Go Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh.
Cathy Gannon, former champion apprentice in Ireland, made her visit home a sweet one thanks to the David Evans-trained raider.
4/5 shot Glor Na Mara came into the race hoping to break his duck after two terrific efforts in top class company but found the English horse a tought nut.
Kevin Manning got to the front briefly inside the final furlong but Dingle View found plenty for pressure to stick her head out and gain a head verdict at the line. Big Issue who had also been to the fore throughout, finished a length back in third.
Winning trainer Evans didn't travel over with his charge.
