Derby emerges from the fog to win Fairyhoue opener
Thick fog ruined viewing of the opening race Kildownet Group Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse today, although The Last Derby emerged a three and a half length winner, under David Casey.
Afterwards Griffin stated "David (Casey) said he jumped well and was in front after the third last."
He added "we think a lot of The Last Derby in his home work and he'll go to Leopardstown over Christmas for a novice."
