Total Demolition followed-up on his win at Leopardstown last week, taking the Grant Thornton Handicap under Ross Coakley for John Larkin.
Coakley was a late replacement for Sean Davis who was stood down for the day after his mount, Miss Ives ran out and unseated him in the first.
Settled towards rear, the winning son of the Thewayyouare made good progress on the outer from the two furlong pole.
He was ridden to lead inside the final furlong, and he kept on well close home to score by half a length at the odds of 4/1. Catch Word (16's to 14's) ran a fine race to finish second under Tom Madden for Eoin Griffin, while Kubali was four and three parts of a length back in third under Gary Carroll for Ger Lyons at 6/1. Ecoeye was sent off the 3/1 favourite and he finished sixth under Ronan Whelan for Austin Leahy.
Larkin said afterwards: "Breen (White) bought him during the week from my wife Amanda and I can't say I was disappointed to see the non-runners today - they are always a help!
"He's a grand wee horse and will go to Galway next - nothing else matters!!
