Delacroix justifies odds on favouritism as O'Briens dominate

Unruly in the stalls he may have been but that didn't stop Leopardstown second placer Delacroix (2/5) from justifying odds-on favouritism in the Trainor Stone And Tile Irish EBF Maiden at the Curragh.
Back in trip Ryan Moore soon had the beautifully bred Ballydoyle juvenile in front, and though his stable companion Acapulco Bay (also by Dubawi) was a big eye-catcher with a strong finishing effort, he was never really looking like getting to the winner.
A length and three parts split them and to continue the O'Brien family domination Joseph saddled the third and fourth home, Dante's Lad and Hostility
“He was very green the first day and he’s still very green. Ryan said they were waiting in the stalls a long time and he had a hold of him but when he let him go he just went up," said successful handler Aidan O'Brien.
“He’s still babyish and he’ll probably come forward plenty. He’s probably going to be a lovely middle-distance horse.
“The second horse had a lovely run. You don’t know what they are going to do first time. I said to Wayne to give him a chance the first half to see what he’s going to do the second half and he was coming home.”
R.L. Moore, rider of Delacroix, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got upset in the stalls.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, G.M. Ryan, rider of Red Charlie (USA), trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free on its last two runs so he rode him today to try and get him to settle.
