Decision supplies McManus with treble
JP McManus was enjoying a good day when Good Decision supplied him with his third winner of the day when winning the Timmy Cassidy Handicap Hurdle under Alan Crowe.
Christy Roche’s charge made his progress to join the leaders at the second last.
The Kayf Tara gelding stayed on well on run-in to get up and lead close home and deny Aliceaneileen by a neck.
Winning trainer Roche said afterwards: “It’s a good day, I never thought this lad would win a race.”
“We were very unlucky not to be brought down by Queen Of Cool when she slipped up.”
JP Manus was on the mark earlier in Cork when both Salesin and Ainama came home in front for trainer Niall ‘Boots’ Madden.
