Dawn Choir scores for Hughes/Loughran
The Dessie Hughes trained Dawn Choir has a date at the Doncaster Sales next, having run out the easy 12 lengths winner of the Four Roads Maiden Hurdle at Roscommon today, scoring a 17th winner of the season for stable jockey Roger Loughran.
Dawn Choir chased the leaders before moving through to lead before the final flight, staying on well for an easy win over Rockey Boy.
Afterwards Hughes stated “Dawn Choir won a point to point and ran well for Barry (Connell, amateur jockey and owner) in bumpers but didn't appear the type to win one.”
He added “Dawn Choir likes good ground and will be entered in the Doncaster Sales at the end of October.”
