Dashing Darcy brings McKiernan more success

The busy Whodoyouthink ran a 'stormer' in the Irish National before 'running out of petrol' and finishing seventh. On his fourth outing since then, Whodoyouthink benefited from a dashing Mick Darcy ride to cause a little bit of surprise in the Follow Punchestown On Facebook Chase.
Available at 16s earlier, the victorious Court Cave 7yo had his supporters into 9s and he went out and made all at a good gallop, he jumped well and from three out he wasn't for catching as he accounted for Askanna by all of seventeen lengths. On his return from a break, the odds-on favourite Loosen My Load turned in a laboured effort and ended up finishing fourth.
Oliver McKiernan trains Whodoyouthink and he said: "Firstly I'd like to compliment the ground-staff here. We don't live too far away and in our place you wouldn't trot a horse, the ground is rock hard.
"He appears to be a better chaser than hurdler although you have to mix-it with him to keep him focused.
"The favourite (Loosen My Load) probably ran below par but they went a fair gallop and I wondered if he'd tire in the last few furlongs, but he kept on very well.
"He'll keep on the go as long as the ground doesn't get too fast." (AM & EM)
