Danny's best of the Wexford mares
The Wexford-trained mare, Bobs Display was the one for money in the William and Gladys Bourke Handicap Hurdle but it was left to two other of the fairer sex from the Model County, Danny’s Vic and Twelfth Of Never to battle it out, the former prevailing by a length and a half.
Andrew Lynch rode Danny's Vic for New Ross-handler Michael Cullen and he said: "We were worried about the ground but she is tough. She is not very big so she'll be staying over hurdles."
