Dahindar vindicates Lynam's patience
Dahindar produced a devastating finishing burst half a furlong out to claim the one mile handicap for trainer Eddie Lynam at Dundalk. Jockey Padraig Beggy on board the gelding was booting home his second winner of the day.
Lynam said: "I thought this horse was going to be a premier handicapper but it just hasn't happened with him. Maybe Dundalk suits him or maybe a sunny day does.
"The owner has been very patient with him and we'll look to bring him back here. This race has been good to me as I won it last year also." Sugar Baby Love belied his odds of 14/1 to finish second with Mark Johnston's 3/1 favourite Honest Broker third.
