The feature of the day, The Irish Stallions EBF Novice Chase was won by the Oliver McKiernan trained Follow The Plan under John Cullen.

McKiernan said afterwards, "He has improved a little bit since his last run, he jumps well and he showed a nice turn of foot between the last two fences. We have no set plans for him, we will probably go to Leopardstown over the Christmas and I wouldn't be afraid of dropping him back to 2 miles."
