Crowley has nice youngster in Steel Bob
Steel Bob and Jamie Codd leave Angelica Yeats and Nina Carberry in their wake

Long-standing point-to-point supporter Pat Crowley saddled Steel Bob to win the concluding Athlone (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race at Kilbeggan under Jamie Codd.
Steel Bob won a 'point' himself, a four-year-old maiden at Ballyarthur back in March, and at that stage at least he was the only horse in training with Crowley at Ballyoran outside Fermoy.
The bay, a May foal, was bought by Crowley from Michael Browne last year, and here he took over two and a half furlongs out before asserting to account for the big two in the betting, Angelica Yeats (15/8) and Naturally Blond (13/8 favourite), by twelve lengths and twenty three lengths.
"We weren't sure if he'd enough experience but he's won well. He's the sort that is crying out for a hurdle," commented Crowley.
