Crowe wins opener at Wexford
The opening race this afternoon at Wexford, The Slaney Maiden Hurdle was won by the Edward O'Grady trained Wright Flyer with Alan Crowe doing the steering for owner Miriam Cotter.
Crowe raced the Accordian gelding in behind the leaders, took closer order travelling well 3 out, led from 2 out and stayed on well to win by a comfortable 8 lengths.
