Co Meath trainer Gavin Cromwell saddled Our Monty to win The Baileys Racing Range Beginners Chase under Barry Geraghty in the colours of Denis Reddan.

Winning trainer Cromwell said afterwards, "You had to fancy him from his good hurdle runs. We will probably go for another chase or there's a hurdle race in Bellewstown he won last year we may go for that again."

This is Cromwell's first winner as a fully licensed and trainer and his first winner at Downpatrick.
