Dual handicap chase winner Top Of The Charts (5/2 fav) availed of a much lower rating over the smaller obstacles by taking the Kerry Group Handicap Hurdle for in-form pair Gavin Cromwell and Jonathan Moore.
Previously a fine fifth over fences at Galway, here he was three and a half lengths to the good at the line from Zagnzig (16/1), with Siempre Amigos (25/1) and Boston Babe (33/1) completing the placings.
After wins at Wexford and Perth earlier in the summer, the Great Pretender five-year-old is very much paying his way this season.
"He ran a cracker in Galway in the Blazers and missed the second last and the last, said the winning trainer Cromwell.
"Off that he was entitled to do that today. He's been a great fun horse and he's a nice horse.
"He's in Clonmel on Thursday but we'll see what the handicapper does, he doesn't have to go there."
