Cracking Name landed his second renewal of the seven furlongs Handicap at Tipperary today as the David Marnane trained gelding won the Larry Lyons Birthday Celebration-sponsored event under jockey Oisin Orr.
The son of Famous Name was a winner for previous trainer Paul Deegan in the 2017 renewal of today's race and having been picked up by current connections for €11,000 in October 2017, today claimed a fifth career success when beating Tribal Path by two and a quarter lengths.
Marnane wasn't present while jockey Orr was notching his 35st win this year, beating his previous best 2017 tally of 29 wins.
