Crack gets up late
Hidden Crack plugged on gamely to get up in the closing stages of the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel.
Front-runner Whatsabillion had looked set for success turning in but was chased down on the run-in and went down by half-a-length to Seamus Fahey's charge.
It was the second winner since turning professional for claimer Pat Kennedy.
"We have four runners in Wolverhampton today so Seamus is over there," said the trainer's wife Bernadette.
"He thought the ground had gone a bit tto heavy for him. We'll look for something similar."
