Pink Goddess enjoyed another day out in Downpatrick when making all in the hands of Martin Ferris for restricted trainer Geoff Cuthbert.
The 10-year-old mare brought up her second career success today and in fact her only other win came at this northern track in July last year.
“She loves it here, she’s somewhat of a course specialist. She won the last day making all as well,” trainer Geoff Cuthbert, based in Haynestown Dundalk, commented.
“We’ll see what hike the handicapper gives her, but she’ll be back here at the end of the month.
The owners (Patrick McDonagh and Martin Carr) have couple of young horses with me.”
Pink Goddess (8/1) was never headed in strolling up the hill 10 lengths clear of Ambush Angel at 7/1 with another 10 lengths back to 5/1 co favourite of three Glen Orchy Lad
The other co-favourites, Dashing Lady and Stonesinmypocket came home fourth and seventh respectively. Mad Money certainly attracted plenty of notes this morning when halving in price from 16/1 to 8/1, however he finished sixth at 9/1.
