Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning's dominance at Gowran Park this afternoon continued in the four-year-old and up maiden as Cosmic Cannonball made it four on the day for the Coolcullen team.
The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor was the third newcomer to strike for the pair on the card.
She was produced to challenge at the two furlong pole and knuckled down well to get the better of Toe The Line inside the final furlong.
The 13/8 favourite asserted in the closing stages to post a length-and-a-half victory.
“She should improve loads and will appreciate a trip and better ground,” said travelling head lad Ger Flynn.
“She's had a few issues so we've had to wait until she's four to run her.”
The winner is a half-sister to the Listed placed An Saincheann. Their dam Uimhir A Haon was placed in Group 3 company and is a half-sister to Group 1 Coronation Stakes winner Maids Causeway.
