Coscorrig benefits from Archie Boys fall
Coscorrig was gifted the handicap chase at Punchestown today when even money favourite Archie Boy crashed out at the second last.
He looked set to play second fiddle until inheriting the lead at the second last fence and going on for a five and a half length victory over See U Bob
Winning trainer Andy Lynch said afterwards: “We had a bit of luck today.”
“She’s not too bad and she’s had some very good runs in good races. She has given us plenty of enjoyment.”
“I’m not sure where we’ll go next but we will give her a bit of time.”
Archie Boy was remounted by Davy Russell to finish last.
