Coolpotts off the mark in style
Coolpotts opened his account over fences with the minimum of fuss in the two-mile beginners chase at Fairyhouse.
Produced to challenge three out, by Robbie Moran, the Pistolet Bleu gelding hit the front at the second last and soon stamped his authority on proceedings.
He went on to score by 16-lengths from long-time leader Cindys Schindler
"We'll go for a winners race then Leopardstown at Christmas," said trainer John Berry.
"He gained some good experience last year. I would say any trip would be alright for him although two-and-a-half might be his best."
