The finale at Wexford, the Campile INH Flat Race saw a trio dominate at the head of the market and it was the third one in, Myles Ahead that prevailed for trainer Anthony Mulholland and rider Steven Clements.
Never far away, the well-backed 7/2 chance led two and a half furlongs from home and then fought off outsider Vivid Red and favourite Tirauli by two and a half lengths and three and a half lengths.
Mulholland commented: "I fancied him to run a big race. He ran a nice race last time out and he probably just needed the run and got caught in the last few furlongs.
"I was a bit worried about the ground as I had come down here for the fast but when I walked down the track I thought it wasn't too bad down the middle of the track so we took our chance and I thought he would take all the beating.
"I might look for a winner bumpers for him now or he could just go straight over hurdles." (DM & EM)
