Robbie Colgan recorded his first winner of the season when winning the Rendezvous Bar Ball Handicap Chase aboard 12/1 shot Lightening Sky

Colgan took up the lead travelling from before five out and kept on well from the last to hold off Mervyn Torren’s charge Takendo by a length and three parts.
Winning trainer Joseph Fox stated: “It took her awhile to get a win over fences."
"She is twenty pounds better off over hurdles so she will mix it over both codes during the Summer.”
“She always comes right around this time of year, she won this time last year over hurdles.”
The 11/4 favourite Wine And Spirits from the Val O’Brien stable weakened quickly on the final circuit and pulled up after three out.
The Revoque filly was examined by the Turf Club Veterinary Officer by request of the Stewards and was found to be clinically abnormal post race.
