Cleary seen to good effect
The Limerickraces.ie (C&G) Maiden was won by the Michael Halford trained 6/1 shot Hawkhill ridden by Rory Cleary and owned by the R F H Syndicate.
Winning trainer Halford said afterwards, "He ran well at The Curragh and has come on nicely from the run. The ground was a big help to us today and he should improve again from the run. We'll see what the handicapper does with him now."
