Chaos Control lands the odds again in the Nursery

Chaos Control continued on an upward curve when following up a handicap win here a fortnight again over a mile in the Join Us On Instagram @dundalk_stadium Nursery Handicap.
The Andy Oliver-trained juvenile was backed as if defeat was out of the question last time and again went off a well-backed odds-on shot against seven rivals.
The 4/5 favourite quickened up well when asked for an effort over a furlong out by Ronan Whelan and appeared to have a bit in hand when a-length-and-three-quarters clear at the line. Thousand took the runner-up spot with Gunners Dream a further three-quarters-of-a-length back in third.
Oliver said, “Ronan gave him a good ride. He said that he just does what he has to do during the race and he rode him like the best horse.
“When he hit the front he felt like he had enough done. It was all straight-forward.
“It looks like he's progressing well. I don't think there is anything else for him here so I think that's probably him for the year.
“We'll maybe keep him for the grass, hopefully he'll be a horse that will progress and give us a bit of fun.”
