Casey Loves Paddy's Day
Having his third outing since joining Leonard Whitmore and on his third attempt over the larger obstacles, Casey Supreme landed the Baileys Beginners Chase under Matt 'Strawberry' O'Connor, to make it an all Wexford success.
The 4/1 shot had the measure of Ted Gunther when that one departed at the last, and he was left even further clear when Shesadoll parted company with Clare MacMahon. The verdict over Ramsden Boy at the line was nineteen lengths.
Casey Supreme is progressing well and he looks sure to win more races. Interestingly his previous success came in a Wexford maiden hurdle on St Patrick's Day 2007. (EM)
