Call The Police Impresses at Clonmel
The final race on today's card, The Kilsheelan Flat Race saw a good winner in the John McConnell trained Call The Police under Ross O'Sullivan for owner Eamon Duignan. There was a gamble on the winner it was 33/1 this morning and was returned at 13/2.
Winning trainer McConnell said, "I saw he was 33/1 this morning and thought it was very big price so we had to have a bit of it. He is a very nice horse and we think a lot of him. This is my 1st runner for Eamon Duignan and I'm delighted he won for him. He will probably be put away until the Winter now."
