Cadawill bounced back to form to spring a 25/1 shock in the handicap chase at Tramore this afternoon.
Roger Sweeney 's charge was easy to back for the two-mile five-furlong contest and drifted from 11/1 this morning.
Andrew Lynch had his mount prominent for most of the trip and he went on from the second last.
The eight-year-old stuck on well in the closing stages to record a two-and-a-quarter length victory over Shanklys Dawn
The winner had finished well behind at Punchestown on his most recent start having been pulled up at Galway previously.
Sweeney admitted:- "He surprised me a bit. He's a grand auld devil of a horse. He jumped and enjoyed it in front.
“We'll see how he comes out of this before deciding where we go next but he always keeps a bit for himself."
