Above The Law a winner at Dundalk twice in the past, landed the opening Hibernia Steel Ltd Handicap to make a busy spell pay off.
Seven pound claimer Sean Corby had Andy Oliver's charge up there dictating throughout and in the end he ran out a convincing two length winner.
Oliver said: "He won well. That's his third run of the week and of course he ran at Navan last night.
"There's two ways of riding him. Getting a front run or holding him up.
"Sean gave him a great ride. He jumped well for him and he's a tough campaigner.
"Those sprinters – you could run them every day of the week and get a different result.
"Sean looks like a kid who is going places."
K.J. Manning, rider of Grey Danube trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung throughout this race.
