Burning Brightly continues winning ways

The John Murphy trained Burning Brightly landed the New Year's Greyhound Racing Nursery Handicap at Dundalk today, following up last month’s course win under regular rider Colin Keane.
The son of Sir Prancealot was a half length winner at the venue in October and defied a 7lbs rise to win by three parts of a length today, when again benefiting from a well judged Keane ride.
Murphy was represented by his son George Murphy who later stated “he’s a lovely horse and is improving all the time. It was a very tough performance to carry that weight for a two-year-old and we’d be hopeful he’ll improve again from that. He might come back here again but we don’t know yet.”
